This policy explains how AI features in Testmo handle your data; how it’s used, processed, protected, and how you stay in control at all times.
Enabling AI Features Responsibly
AI features in Testmo are enabled by default on all fully licensed cloud instances.
- De-activation of AI may be performed by a Testmo Administrator, via the Admin > AI Settings console.
- User-level permissions can restrict access by role, so only approved users can use AI features.
- AI only runs when you explicitly choose to use it. Nothing happens automatically.
How Your Data Is Used
We are committed to building AI that is secure, ethical, and user-centric. When you interact with Testmo’s AI features:
- Your input—along with any optional context you provide (such as domain terms or project-specific information)—is securely transmitted via encrypted APIs to a large language model (LLM).
- That input is used solely to generate a relevant response for your request.
- No data is selected or processed automatically. Only what you submit.
- Using AI is entirely optional, and you decide what data is shared.
Data Ownership & Privacy
Your data is always yours.
- All inputs and AI-generated outputs are treated as Customer Content under the Testmo license agreement.
- Your AI data is never shared with other customers.
- We do not use your data to train or improve underlying LLMs.
- AI features do not change your existing data rights or protections.
- Your ownership and privacy remain unchanged.
Compliance & Legal Alignment
Testmo is committed to meeting applicable data protection and privacy requirements, including:

AI Terms of Use
Use of AI features is governed by the Testmo Master SaaS agreement. These terms also define important details such as data residency and processing conditions.
